Hi all! Can you believe this cold. It's now -10 here and the wind chill is around -30. Yuck! The boys were home today and they called school for tomorrow at around 4:00. They also have Mon off for Martin Luther King Jr. day so Alex is very excited about having a five day weekend. Me, not so much, but that's life isn't it. Stay warm everyone!
Oh, a little poem to share from one of my choir members:
It's winter in Wisconsin
And the gentle breezes blow
Seventy miles an hour
At twenty-five below.
Oh, how I love Wisconsin
When the snow's up to your butt
You take a breath of winter
And your nose gets frozen shut.
Yes, the weather here is wonderful
So I guess I'll hang around
I could never leave Wisconsin
'Cause I'm frozen to the ground.
