So this year we decided to let the boys stay up as late as they wanted. Of course we figured from looking at this picture that they'd be done in by 9 or 9:30. Which was really what I wanted, since I wanted to go to sleep..
Here we have mr Alex buried under the blanket, he told me this morning that he was doing that because daddy was bothering him. Mark was trying really hard to keep them both awake..

By now Dylan was just about ready to give up for the night.
This was about 9:30 and about when Alex gave up

Here it's 10:00 and Dylan was trying to learn how to play a 15 puzzle.

Then of course here's the picture of me asleep and Dylan celebrating making it longer than mommy.

And you guessed it, Happy New Year, 2010.
Of course, the benefit of living in WI, it was only 11:00 and we watched the ball drop live from New York. That way Dylan got to be awake to welcome the new year for the first time and mommy got to go to bed at 11:05.

I noticed that, too, that they played it at 11:00 our time. I pretty much crashed after that.
