Potty issues

Okay it seems that potty issues are a theme lately, so I thought I'd add my own story.

Last night I was in my room watching the news and I heard little feet heading to the bathroom. I didn't think anything of it, until I heard pee hitting surface not water. You all know what I'm talking about. YOu can hear the difference. Except this time it didn't splash at all.

I was sitting there thinking oh no. And as he kept going and going and going, I was really thinking this was really going to be a mess. So, as Alex (yes, Alex) went back to bed I went into the bathroom and oh yes, he forgot to lift the seat. And went all over the lid of the toilet.

So, at 10:00 last night I was cleaning a toilet and laughing hysterically, because really does it get any funnier than that?

Happy New Year!!

So this year we decided to let the boys stay up as late as they wanted. Of course we figured from looking at this picture that they'd be done in by 9 or 9:30. Which was really what I wanted, since I wanted to go to sleep.

Here we have mr Alex buried under the blanket, he told me this morning that he was doing that because daddy was bothering him. Mark was trying really hard to keep them both awake.

By now Dylan was just about ready to give up for the night.

Here it's 10:00 and Dylan was trying to learn how to play a 15 puzzle.

Then of course here's the picture of me asleep and Dylan celebrating making it longer than mommy.

And you guessed it, Happy New Year, 2010.

Of course, the benefit of living in WI, it was only 11:00 and we watched the ball drop live from New York. That way Dylan got to be awake to welcome the new year for the first time and mommy got to go to bed at 11:05.
