Doggy D

Dylan is my youngest son. He just turned 4 and is quite the challenge lately, but I wanted to make sure I did a good post before I had a reason to write about any difficult behaviors. While we were on our trip to MI to visit Kristi her son Noah found an old doggy costume that Dylan immediately latched onto. He wore it Wednesday afternoon and pretty much continuously except while sleeping since then. Now my opinion is, who cares who sees him in the costume. Daddy on the other hand made him take it off before runing errands. I just think he looks so cute. His cousin Cole (9 months) thinks he's hysterical in the costume. The funny part is that I call him Doggy D and he keeps telling me "I'm not a doggy." and pulling the hood off to prove it.
He has such a sweet smile and is the most adorable little boy. I just hope we can work through some of his behavioral issues. It's hard to enjoy the beautiful, sweet little boy when I'm so busy being frustrated with him. I hope you enjoy the pictures of my doggy D over the last few days.

My First Post

Well here goes, my first attempt at blogging. My friend Kristi assures me that this is a great idea. I have to admit I have really enjoyed reading her blog and keeping up with what their family is up to. Thanks Kristi for the help setting this up by the way. Anyways I'm not sure how often I"ll actually do this, but I'm hoping to use it to remember all of the silly (and outright naughty) things that my boys do and to maybe get the occasional advice from other mom's and dad's when I run out of ideas. So, a little more about me. I'm a stay at home mom who works very part time as the choir director at our church. I love my job and it keeps me busy. It's great though because I can work from home or bring the kids to work when I need to. I have two boys. ALex, is 6 and in kindergarten, Dylan is 4 and in preschool. More about them another time. Well, if you read Kristi's blog you know that I just got back from a visit to Michigan and Chicago so for all the 6 hours spent in the car thinking about what I'd write my brain's not functioning well so I'm going to stop here.

Here's to getting better at this and meeting lots of new friends through the blogging world.
